 Katherine Center, known as "the reigning queen of comfort reads", will speak at the BLO luncheon on March 14th. Katherine is the New York Times bestselling author of eight bittersweet comic novels, including Happiness for Beginners which is soon to be a Netflix movie starring Ellie Kemper. The movie adaptation of her novel The Lost Husband (starring Josh Duhamel) hit #1 on Netflix in August of 2020. Her newest book The Bodyguard comes out this summer. The doors to the Yacht Club open at 10:30 a.m. and the luncheon begins at 11:15 a.m. Reservations are due by March 6th by midnight. To make a reservation, go online or call the Club at 936.597.6219. Mix & Mingle Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at Mix &
Mingle on Thursday, March 17 from 4-7 PM at the Bentwater
Country Club Grill. Hosted by Bentwater Ladies Association (BLO), Men for
Bentwater (MOB) and Bentwater Civic Association (BCA), new residents receive a
welcome gift bag and membership information will be available. If you plan to
stay for dinner, reservations are recommended. Remember your shamrocks and name

 On Friday, April 8th BLO will travel to the Spring Houston Nutcracker Market. The event is focused on all things spring and summer, and you can store your purchases on the bus and keep on shopping. Attendance is limited so sign-up ASAP! We depart the Yacht Club parking lot at 8:45 AM and return around 4:00 PM. For only $58, each BLO member will receive an entrance ticket, bus ride, driver tip, snacks and wine, water, and soft drinks for the return trip. Contact Pam Gallagher at [email protected].
