Your 2025 Preview of Grand Pines Golf Events & Programs
We are so excited to announce this 2025 lineup of events, programs, and activities that our team has planned for Grand Pines Golf Club. Our goal is to offer a variety of activities that cater to all of our members' interests while maintaining an atmosphere of serenity and availability for those who simply enjoy the social aspect.
The Points Chase
The Points Chase is a season long event open to all Members of Grand Pines. The Member Tournament Series season will consist of the thirteen (13) Friday Forest Fights, the six (6) Skins Games and the three (3) Major Tournaments (Individual Match Play, the Member-Member, and the Club Championship)
Although points are awarded to the Top 3 Gross and Top 3 Net finishers in each Flight per event, the Points Chase is against all Members at Grand Pines. At the end of the season, prizes will be awarded to the overall top 22 finishers who have the most points. The top 22 finishers will also qualify for the Grand Pines Ryder Cup.
By playing in any of the Member Tournament Series events, individuals are automatically entered into the Points Chase and will earn points based on participation and results.

Tournaments at Grand Pines
In addition to the normal tournament lineup, for 2025 we have added a two (2) day Member Guest, two Couple's Tournaments, an Octoberfest and some fun events like Heaven & Hell and our new Murder Is Par event.

One of the big changes this year is that we have changed the Individual Match Play to a season long event where members schedule their matches at their convenience within the timeframe allotted for each round. We are hoping the change will allow more members to participate. Registration is now open, so if you would like to play, don't wait to sign up. Matches begin in March!

Thursday Afternoons at Grand Pines
In order to battle the mid-week blues, we have selected eleven (11) Thursday afternoons throughout the year to organize either a Skins Game or a Shootout for the membership. This year, Thursdays will be a great opportunity for competition, camaraderie, and fun! Registration for the Thursday games can be found on the Grand Pines Tournament website.

Happy Hour Fridays
Conclude your week with our Happy Hour Fridays. After completing your round, you are invited to relax at the clubhouse, enjoying refreshing beverages and delightful appetizers in the company of others. It is an ideal way to unwind and mark the beginning of the weekend. This year, Jackie will offer a limited appetizer menu and beverages at Happy Hour pricing from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM on Forest Fight Fridays and Skins/Shootout Thursdays.
Daily Games
We have selected a number of days throughout the year to organize an optional daily game, bringing a unique twist to your usual golfing routine. All the games are optional and designed so as not to disrupt normal daily play. Members will have the opportunity to sign up on the 1st tee for each of the Daily Games. Stay tuned for announcements on the themed games, competitions, and other activities we have planned throughout the year.
Penalty Areas
We are also excited to inform you that we have recently remarked the golf course to improve your playing experience. This endeavor was made possible thanks to the hard work and dedication of AJ Cortez. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to AJ for his invaluable assistance with this project.
