at the Bentwater Marina

Join us for a super fun summer tradition!  The Marina Staff will teach the kids the fundamentals of East Texas freshwater lake fishing, including:

• The components of a fishing rod and reel

• Fishing line and how to select the proper weight

• Fish hooks and how to select the proper size

• Learning about bobbers, sinkers, and swivels
  

• Lures, bait, and how to select the right ones

• Knot tying

• Essential tools needed to make life easier

• Fishing etiquette

• Fishing safety

• And most importantly, catching lots of fish!

We'll provide the bait (minnows & worms) and we even have some extra fishing poles if you need one.
