Join us for a super fun summer tradition! The Marina Staff will teach the kids the fundamentals of East Texas freshwater lake fishing, including:
The components of a fishing rod and reel
Fishing line and how to select the proper weight
Fish hooks and how to select the proper size
Learning about bobbers, sinkers, and swivels
Lures, bait, and how to select the right ones
Knot tying
Essential tools needed to make life easier
Fishing etiquette
Fishing safety
And most importantly, catching lots of fish!
We'll provide the bait (minnows & worms) and we even have some extra fishing poles if you need one.
