Grand Pines Couples Member-Guest Tournament
Dear Grand Pines Member,
On behalf of Grand Pines Golf Club at Bentwater we would like to welcome you to the Grand Pines Couples Member-Guest Golf Tournament to be held Friday, October 22nd and Saturday, October 23rd.
As you already know, Grand Pines Golf Club is a very special venue to host your guests in the peace and tranquility of this beautiful facility. Winding through rolling hills and surrounded by a large national forest, Grand Pines is an exceptional place to enjoy a relaxing weekend with friends. What a great opportunity to bring out your favorite golfing couple and let them experience the quiet atmosphere you experience everyday at Grand Pines. Your weekend will be filled with great golf, wonderful food selections and some quality time with your guests.
The tournament will consist of 3 days of golf which includes an optional practice round on Thursday, October 21st. The format for the tournament will be a Shamble Net Best Ball format for round one and a Two Net Best Balls of the foursome for the final round. Club members will play off their handicap as established at the Club. Guests will play off their verifiable USGA handicap with a maximum guest handicap of 24 for the men and 36 for the ladies. Please write your USGA GHIN Handicap and club contact information on the entry form. The Grand Pines Professional staff will contact your local club to verify your index. As always, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to adjust any handicap as deemed necessary.
The Grand Pines Couples Member-Guest tournament will be restricted to the first 15 teams full entry fee of $700 to the Grand Pines Golf Shop at the address listed on the entry form. Entry fees may be paid via club member account or via personal check.
The Grand Pines staff is currently in the process of planning an exciting and wonderful event. A tentative schedule of events is included with this letter and additional information will be presented to you upon registration for the event.
We are looking forward to having this exciting annual event and showing your guests all the Grand Pines has to offer.
Waiting list, if needed, will be taken on first come first serve basis.
