Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack

   INTRODUCTION TO SUICIDE PREVENTION

Judge Wayne L. Mack, a 35 year resident of Montgomery County has had a distinguished career of public service, starting out as a custodian working the night shift for the Montgomery County Building Maintenance with Montgomery County cleaning the Court House in downtown Conroe TX. He has over 30 years of service with Montgomery County government. After graduating from Lone Star College Police Academy he became a Law Enforcement career and has almost 15 years in Law Enforcement working as Reserve Captain at the PCT. 1 Constables office and as a Reserve Sergeant at the Conroe Police Dept. and a M.A.P. Deputy with the Constable PCT. 2.

In 2014 Judge Mack was elected to serve as the Justice of the Peace for Justice Court One. He has Court offices in Willis & Montgomery Texas.  When he came into office, he started the Justice Court Chaplaincy Program that includes over 60 members across Montgomery County representing all faiths that respond to assist Law Enforcement in times of crisis and tragedy to help families start the process of grieving and healing.

In addition to his role as Justice of the Peace, Judge Mack has served on 15 different non-profit Boards in Montgomery County. He formed and leads 250 volunteers within The Montgomery County Behavioral Health and Suicide Prevention Task Force, and teaches mental health classes for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention.

Judge Mack was recently named "Justice of the Peace of the Year 2020" by the Justice of the Peace and Constable Association of Texas!!

Judge Mack is happily married to his beautiful wife Mindy who works for the Conroe Police Dept.  He has 3 grown children Austin, Amber and Michelle. 6 grandchildren.

Judge Mack and his family live their life motto of " Make A Difference every day."

 


Sign-in starts at 10:30 a.m.  The meeting will begin at 11 a.m., with lunch at 11:30 a.m. The program will begin at Noon. Meetings last until approximately 1:00 p.m.

Lunch is optional, but reservations must be made by 12:00 am on the Wednesday prior to the Luncheon (8 days before), even if you're not eating.
