Bentwater's fully equipped Fitness Center provides everything you need to stay healthy - from rigorous strength training and cathartic cardio workouts to yoga and stretching.
Bentwater’s Fitness Center is equipped with a variety of patented Cybex circuit-training machines, multifunctional weight machines, and a full selection of free weights for upper and lower body workouts. Utilized by the Houston Texans football team, the Cybex circuit-training lever-controlled machines are low-impact, precise, and easy to adjust for a total body workout. The cardio area also includes Precor elliptical cross trainers, Matrix treadmills, and upright and recumbent bikes with new MYE Cardio Theatre to access television and music with any headset. All cardiovascular equipment is equipment with the newest Cardio Theatre System, and features Bluetooth capability and USB ports/plugs for charging your phone or iPod.
Meredith Robertson, Director of Fitness and Day Spa, has developed a variety of proven programs that focus on all areas of fitness and nutrition and she implements them in an inspirational format. Meredith, along with the Fitness Center staff and personal trainers, work with you to define and achieve your fitness goals – everything from sport specific fitness, rehabilitation from an injury or surgery, losing weight, nutritional guidance, reducing body fat, or increasing strength.
Professional staff members are on-hand to demonstrate proper use of the equipment and answer questions. For those who need an extra push, the personal trainers at the Fitness Center can put together a personalized workout guaranteed to whip you into shape.
The Group Fitness facility hosts a progression of group fitness classes offering a variety of over 30 different classes per week. Class varieties include Chisel and Zumba to Yoga and Pilates, all led by professional instructors. The men's and women's locker areas include steam rooms, day lockers and are fully equipped for your pre and post workout needs.
